Wildlife Park (2013)
30min · Short, Biography, Comedy · 1 January 2013
'Wildlife Park' is the study of the viewers themselves through the characters in the film. The aim is to study the disparity between private, interesting, individual, 'weird' thoughts and actions, and public social constructs that see people trying to conform and rid the most interesting parts of themselves in order to 'fit into a mold'. It seems that these private parts of people that they feel are not suitable for the social mold are the reason for a lack of self esteem in many cases, and actually are some of the most interesting, harmless parts of people. It may be a more interesting, vibrant, friendly, honest and more comprehensible world if people felt comfortable enough to bear themselves more fully and honestly to everyone else.
