Held together with weak aphorisms and cheap mysticism, Cathy's life is a disaster. After stumbling through the last twenty five years estranged and vainly searching for herself, she finally returns home brave enough to confront the cause of it all - her brutal but ailing father; only she's too late and he's already dead. Denied closure she determines that he must still pay for his brutality and, commits to a darkly comic revenge that while it fails to deliver the justice she craves, does give her the sweet childhood reunion she needs.
