We are often taught to give a blind eye to experiences of oppression, but when oppression becomes visible, we can be overwhelmed by the sense that we are powerless and the problem is too large for one to take on. In PARRHESIA we meet eight ordinary individuals who made the choice to stand against oppression in their everyday lives and through their stories, we learn how they came to know oppression, how they act against it, and the costs and triumphs that come with speaking out.
