The film Salome is an experimental film based on the theatre play 'Salome' written by Oscar Wilde, The voice of John the Baptist - who is imprisoned by Herod, the ruler of Judea - is echoing in the prison, predicting something terrible will be caused by Salome, who is the daughter of Herodias, the wife of Herod.
